About Our Mission
The DWC Golf Day is more than just a tournament – it's a community coming together to make a difference. Every swing, every putt, and every participant helps us reach our fundraising goals. By joining us for a day of great golf, you will be helping us to provide programming to the students of Wake County as they step into the leadership role and guide their peers through engaging activities and conversations. We will be able to train them and provide them with the tools so that they can start making the changes in their school communities that they want to. This enables a more connected school community, fostering a sense of belonging and a deeper willingness to support one another. This helps to create a school climate that is not just more welcoming, but safer, as students are willing to look out for each other because they have a bit more awareness of their shared struggles and successes.
